Our Mission Statement
CAREnet is dedicated to empowering psychiatry practices through access to group purchasing, education, resources, and practice management solutions. By leveraging a community of shared resources, CAREnet will help practices thrive, and continue expanding access to high-quality, innovative care with operational excellence.
What is GPO
A healthcare group purchasing organization (GPO) assists providers in promoting quality healthcare and effectively managing expenses. A GPO aggregates the purchasing volume of its members for various goods and services and develops contracts with suppliers through which members may buy at discounted group price and terms if they choose to.
GPOs submit that their services allow for improved operating margins for healthcare providers, and that members enjoy value added benefits like clinical support, benchmarking data, supply chain support and comprehensive portfolios of products and services to address specific needs.

the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ms. Mann began her career in healthcare as the COO/Treasurer of a comprehensive Rheumatology practice in Western New York. She was a pioneer in the development of one of the first in-office infusion delivery models
for this specialty and is also a founding member of the National Organization of Rheumatology Managers (NORM). Ms. Mann transitioned to the DENT Neurologic Institute in 2015 as Director of the infusion centers where she was instrumental in creating the 36 chair alternative site of care infusion services. The DENT infusion
center received the national Intalere Healthcare Achievement award, 2017, for outstanding infusion center operations and patient satisfaction. In 2024 the DENT Infusion Center was the first center in the nation to receive the NICA national accreditation of excellence.

Ms. Passanisi currently serves as the Associate Director of DENT Neurologic Institute’s behavioral health and interventional psychiatry clinics. During her nine year tenure beginning as a nurse supporting the clinic workflow, she has grown the operations by increasing patient access to providers, creating efficient workflows and introduc
Ms. Passanisi currently serves as the Associate Director of DENT Neurologic Institute’s behavioral health and interventional psychiatry clinics. During her nine year tenure beginning as a nurse supporting the clinic workflow, she has grown the operations by increasing patient access to providers, creating efficient workflows and introducing new therapies vital to this patient population. While supporting the needs of this position Ms. Passanisi also earned her MBA from D’Youville University to help support a critical understanding of the business complexities of directing a medical practice. Since then, she has contributed to the ongoing growth and development of procedural based care in interventional psychiatry and continued access to care in Western New York and surrounding communities.
